Castellano Encincas led Tacoma to a 1-0-1 record with a 5-0 win over South Puget Sound and a 2-2 tie against undefeated Highline to earn the West No. 2 seed. The freshman defender helped limit SPSCC to just two shots in the match in route to the team's 10th shutout of the season. They then held the highest scoring offense to two goals on 14 shots.

"Jose helped us secure 2nd place in the west region with our 5-0 win vs. SPSCC and NWAC leading 10th clean sheet," said head coach Jason Gjertsen. "He's been our anchor in the back line line all season."
