York was instrumental in leading Skagit Valley to a pair of region victories last week, keeping them in second place in the North Region. In a 70-61 win at Olympic, York had 21 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. She was key at the free-throw line making 8-of-9 attempts. Following in a 69-60 win over Edmonds, York had 14 points, nine boards (including seven offensive), six steals and four assists. She averaged 17.5 points per game, 7.0 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4.0 assists for the week, while playing 38 minutes per game.
